As a small, family-owned business, we’ve experienced significant increases in operating costs due to recent economic changes. Unfortunately, some of these impacts have affected the pricing of our services.
We believe it’s especially important to be transparent with you—our loyal clients—about our costs and the reasoning behind our recent price adjustments in 2026.

Our trusted products of choice include high quality brands, such as Iv San Bernard.

Iv San Bernard is a luxury pet skincare brand, made with naturally occurring ingredients that soothe and replenish the skin and coat effectively, and most important, safely.

The EU Safe Pet Cosmetic program certifies this brand as having passed their regulations for pet safety. This guarantees a degree of safety of cosmetic products for animals comparable to what is claimed for humans. We have yet to find products with this certification from American manufacturers.

While we have implemented strategic inventory tracking and planning to counteract the impacts of tariffs on these imported products, we cannot also counteract the full effects of general inflation on our supplies and tools.

Our service areas & scheduling

AOTP currently services a near 20 mile radius surrounding Sherman Oaks.

Our fleet is comprised of four daily operating vans, plus one van on stand-by for back-up. We maintain a rotation of five full-time groomers, plus two paid office staff.

Our Mercedes vans operate on conventional petroleum diesel, which has skyrocketed in price. Our Dodge van runs on gasoline octane, which has also drastically increased in price.

Ensuring that our fleet is in tip-top shape is the first step to being able to consistently arrive to any destination within our service area. The costs of maintenance for our mobile salons, van generators, and engines is continuous and mandatory.

The average cost of repairs is evenly spread amongst our services to avoid unprecedented financial stress during times of emergent or urgent mechanical maintenance.

It’s thanks to you that we can provide high quality care and consistency to not only your furry-friends, but to our beloved staff as well. AOTP is proud to maintain provided health care insurance, as well as 401K contributions for our whole pack! While premiums for these benefits rise, we firmly believe that they are instrumental in keeping our team happy, healthy, and thriving.
Our on-staff Pet Care Coordinator is available to our groomers five days a week, in the office as well as for in person assistance and pet assessment. She continues to further educate the team on pet handling, safety, and first aide with reference to her experience and knowledge of veterinary medicine.
Each groomer on the crew is making their way toward a full Pet Skin Aesthetician Certification, with ambitions to pursue an additional certifications in the near future.
